Eglise Evangelique Nouvelle
The centerpiece of the Eglise Evangelique Nouvelle in Lomé, Togo, is a stunning geodesic dome spanning over 1,160 square meters and weighing approximately 2 tons. This golden landmark, the tallest building in the area, serves as a symbol of local pride and innovation. Despite facing significant challenges, including training a workforce with no prior construction experience, our team successfully installed the structure with the help of 14 local individuals from the church and community. The dome's PVC blackout membrane was manufactured in one piece to streamline installation, ensuring precision and quality. The project culminated in a heartfelt ceremony attended by over 25 participants, celebrating the community's collaboration and gratitude. Thanks to Geometrica's excellent design, this project not only serves its functional purpose but also stands as a testament to community spirit and progress.
