Juegos Centroamericanos 2023
The Beach Soccer Stadium in San Salvador features 2,580 m² of white PVC membrane covering the stands and 902 m² of spring green Meshmembrane for the facade. Designed to host the 2023 Pan American and Caribbean Games, this project was completed within a remarkably short time frame after El Salvador stepped in to host the games due to Panama's withdrawal. Labor was provided by inmates from local jails, allowing them to reduce their sentences through work—a unique experience for all involved. The design prioritized natural lighting, successfully creating an inviting environment for visitors and participants. Delivered on time, the stadium now serves as a prominent venue for beach soccer matches in San Salvador.
