Museo Rafael Coronel

The ETFE cover for the Rafael Coronel Museum successfully meets both aesthetic and structural demands. The design maintains clear views from within the museum while offering protection from the elements. The project adheres to strict regulations set by INAH and other authorities responsible for the preservation of historical buildings. A lightweight structure was created and carefully supported by a building over 400 years old. Due to the site's historical significance, ETFE was chosen for its transparency, lightness, aesthetic qualities, low maintenance, and durability against wind, rain, and snow.
