Weidner Field

The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC franchise, which plays in the USL Championship, developed a plan for a state-of-the-art stadium. This multifunctional bowl has become a successful venue for the area. We were approached to design canopies for the seating area in a way that would not obstruct the visibility of any peripheral area of the stadium. A very strict building code was provided to ensure the structure could withstand the heaviest snow loads possible.
