Description
The Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater was an award-winning project at the 2022 IAA from the IFAI, receiving the Award of Excellence and Best in Category. Collaborating with FTL during the pandemic and a harsh winter made our project truly worthwhile. Utilizing the existing baseball stadium, the design featured a hybrid tensegrity mast system with fabric above the orchestra seating and a fabric-clad frame covering the bleacher area. A trussed catwalk unified these elements for lighting and access, while finite element analysis optimized the structures.
